Police Boot Another Bogus Charity Magazine Seller out of Town.

Police have taken action against another Bogus Big Issue vendor who travelled into Penrith this morning from the North East to dishonestly take money from members of the public in Penrith

The individual posing as a Big Issue vendor was challenged by area PCSO from the Den Neighbourhood policing team.

The individual was reported for the offence and sent on his way by police who also attended the scene to assist the PCSO.

Penrith has in the last two months had other individuals that police have challenged over selling the charity magazine claiming to be official Big Issue Vendors but when checks have been carried out are found to be bogus vendors.

All official vendors of the Big Issue carry ID and red jacket.
