Penrith turns clocks back 400 years for the 2024 Winter Droving

It’s time for Penrith to once again turn the clocks back 400 years and enjoy the most epic Winter Droving yet.

Eden Arts are set to deliver an unforgettable day filled with incredible performances. Featuring Irish acts crossing the sea thanks to Culture Ireland, jaw-dropping sideshows in brand new carny booths, and a new arts & crafts market, this years Winter a droving is set to have something for everyone, guaranteed to dazzle and delight! All you have to do is get yourself along and “WEAR A MASK”!

Here's this year’s jam-packed programme and this is just the programme for acts on the various stages around the town! Watch out for the walkabouts, the Faerie Museum, the Carny Sideshows, the Markets, the Great Dockray Funfair.

The main spectacle of the day the Winter Droving parade will start at 6:30pm at St Catherine’s school playing field, Drovers Lane and work its way into the town centre via Sandgate at approximately 7:00pm make its way down Kingstreet and round into Great Dockray for approximately 7:15pm.
