Police are investigating an incident on the afternoon of the 14 March at the Beacon in Penrith.
It is reported a man has used a sling shot to fire rocks at children, no one was injured during the incident.
A 51-year-old man from Penrith was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been release on bail.
