Barratt Homes’ Penrith housing development at Carleton Chase, has reached over 50% sold out the last year and the housebuilder is keen to highlight the remaining offers to house hunters before it completely sells out.
Having launched its information centre on 27th June 2025, the development has taken just under one year to sell half of the available properties.
There are a variety of schemes and offers included with the Ascots on Carleton Chase, these include the Part Exchange and Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme.
The Part Exchange scheme enables Barratt Homes to become the guaranteed buyer of a customer’s existing home. This means that buyers can avoid having to take part in the sometimes frustrating and unpredictable property chain and save thousands on estate agent fees.
The Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme allows Barratt Homes to support buyers who play a crucial role in their local communities, including members of the NHS, local authorities, social workers, teachers and many more.
Through the scheme, the developer can contribute £1,000 for every £20,000 spent on a brand-new home, up to a maximum of £25,000. For a home costing £325,000, for example, key workers would qualify for a contribution of £16,250.
