Penrith council depot burgled overnight

Westmorland and Furness Councils Skirsgill Lane highways Depo was burgled overnight with Property including industrial machinery reported to have been stolen from the Penrith council depot. 

The burglary at the premises on Skirsgill Lane depo was reported to Cumbria police at around 6am this morning (Wednesday 24th July)

Cumbria Police have said enquiries are ongoing into the burglary and equipment theft.
