Opportunity to travel between Penrith and Kendal for just £2 as bus 106 Bus adopts government scheme.

The 106 Bus is participating until the 31st March the 106 Bus will be participating in the 'pay less to travel' £2 government bus journey scheme.
Paying passengers will benefit from the reduced rate capped at £2 for a single journey on the 106 Bus and other participating routes and providers.

This means single fares will be capped at £2 and return fares capped at £4 on the routes.
Bus pass holders will continue to travel for free as previous.
Even if you’re not a regular bus user, it might be worth having a go and saving the cost and hassle of driving and Parking.

The 106 bus provides services twice a week linking rural communities along its route between Penrith and Kendal and is supported by funding from parish councils along the route including Penrith Town Council who have provided grant funding in the past to support the service that also stops at routes through the town.
