National Highways have announced that the traffic light issue on Kemplay Bank roundabout that have caused significant delays recently around Penrith on Kemplay Bank roundabout has been fixed.
Engineers remained on-site to ensure the lights continued to work as expected following completion of repairs. With the bank holiday traffic descending on J40 and and Kemplay Roundabout over the next few days the work to fix the timing issues on the traffic lights will be tested to the limits as renewed calls for Nation Highways to look to consider part time lights or a trial without any traffic lights grow.
