The Eden Volunteering Fair, organised by Cumbria CVS will take place on Tuesday 17 October from 12noon-1.30pm at Penrith Methodist Church, Wordsworth Street, Penrith, CA11 7QY
This face-to-face event will bring together a range of organisations from the Eden area looking to recruit volunteers and aims to attract anyone interested in volunteering.
Organisations attending include Carer Support Carlisle and Eden, Cumbria Family Support , National Trust, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Cumbria Youth Alliance, Westmorland Council-Community Transport, People First/Health Watch, Barnardo's and Office of Fire and Police Crime Commissioner.
By attending the event volunteers will be able to chat to organisations about their volunteering opportunities and find out how to register as a volunteer.
