Man who died in Fridays A66 collision at Brough identified by Police

A man who died following a collision on the A66, near Brough, at around 6:10am yesterday Friday 7th July has been identified by police.

Daniel Stephens, aged 35 from Middlesbrough, died at the scene following a road traffic accident on the A66 as the Brough junction.

The A66 was closed in both directions for hours of Friday as emergency services responded to the incident and police crash investigations were carried at the scene.

Cumbria Police are appealing for anyone with information relating to this incident to contact them by calling 101 and asking for Cumbria Police force.
