A man now living in appleby accused of trying to kidnap 10 girls for sex offences has been bailed to appear at crown court next month.
Adnan Khan, 34, now living at Bridge Street in Appleby, and it’s understood to have for a short period of time worked in Penrith, appeared before South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court this week facing multiple serious charges.
Khan is accused of attempting to kidnap ten girls with intent to commit sexual offences, all allegedly committed on March 9, 2021, in Newcastle.
Khan faces charges, of attempted kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence and two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
During the brief magistrates court hearing, Magistrates granted Khan bail ahead of his next court appearance scheduled at Newcastle Crown Court on the 18th June.
