A Man has been arrested in Penrith following a Stop and Search following a Shoplifting incident. Eden Neighbourhood Police Officers were alerted of shoplifting taking place at B&M Middlegate store on Saturday afternoon by staff from the store via the Penrith shop watch radio system.
A description was passed of the shoplifter and the items that had been stolen from the store.
Officers using the description provided by staff located the male close to the store and conducted a stop and search locating the stolen items on his person leading to his arrest and subsequently charged to appear in court at a later date.
