Traffic is facing delays on the M6 Northbound between
Junction 38 at Tebay and Junction 39 at Shap following a vehicle fire that temporarily
closed the motorway.
Emergency services are on the scene and the fire brough
under control with traffic now moving with one lane remaining closed.
Further temporary closures may be required overnight to
allow for recovery of the vehicle and carriageway repairs.
