Delays on the M6 between Junction 41 and Junction 40 on Monday afternoon have resulted in long delays forming through Penrith with drivers facing 20-30minuite delays only the A6 as traffic diverts of the M6 at J41 through Penrith to avoid queues on the M6.
traffic is queued along the A6 on Scotland Road and along Middlegate through onto Bridge Lane and Kemplay Roundabout already with the Monday night rush hour expected to see further delays.
