Long tailbacks Northbound on the M6 as slow moving vehicle travels from Heysham to Carlisle carrying equipment for national grid.
Despite the strong winds currently battering the area fro. Storm Ashley the slow moving convoy has travelled north along the M6.
Originally scheduled to depart Heysham at 9am it departure was delayed by three hours.
The convoy travelling slow at 12mph passed Penrith at 18:30 this evening (Sunday 20th October) with long tailbacks behind it as passed under junction 40.
