Long Delays in and Around Penrith on the Roads This Morning

It’s only Tuesday but it’s Gridlock on the Roads around Penrith this morning.

Traffic around Penrith is facing long delays as the roads are gridlocked this morning with long queues of traffic on the A66 between Kemplay roundabout and J40 and between Rheged and J40.

Traffic on the A6 through Penrith is also facing delays through the town due to queues heading onto J40 and Kemplay.

Drivers are facing delays of 20-30 minutes currently on the around the town.
