The King will deliver his message from a room leading on to Buckingham Palace's balcony.
Buckingham Palace has released a photo of the monarch in front of a living tree, with sustainable decorations hanging from its branches, in a nod to the King's environmental campaigning.
The Christmas message will be delivered at 3pm today Christmas Day.
