Gridlock on Towns roads as roads closed early for Droving

Traffic is gridlocked in Penrith as roads are closed a day early for the Winter Droving leading to what some drivers have said is “carnage” in the town.

Traffic is currently facing delays of 40 minutes on some roads into the town.

The road closures were due to start at 5am on Saturday but some roads in the town centre have already been closed leading to a gridlocked Penrith.
