Final Countdown is on to Penrith Show 2025 on Saturday

A team of volunteers have once again been busy getting the show ground ready for the 2025 Penrith Show tomorrow (Saturday 19th July). The show returns and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever with a full day of events and entertainment the show will get underway with the show ground opening at 7:30am. Trade stands will be open form 10am.

The show organisers are promising a spectacular day out packed with showjumping, livestock competitions, and the famous Homemade Homegrown marquee.

With Trade Stands and Family Fun offering shopping, food, and fun activities throughout the show ground with Brokefmx taking to the main ring!

7:30am - SHOWGROUND OPENS

8:00am - Judging commences for Horses - Please refer to the ‘Horse Section for the equine judging 

9:00am - Dry Stone Walling competition commences (Main Sponsor: The Dry Stone Walling Association)

9:30am - Judging commences for Cattle & Sheep in the ANIMAL LICENSED AREAS

10.00am - Judging commences for HomeMade HomeGrown (Sponsor: Lakes Eggs)

10:00am - Food Hall & Rural Craft Marquees Open    (Sponsor: Fibrus)

10:30am - Judging commences for Rabbits

12:30pm - HomeMade/HomeGrown Marquee opens for viewing

12:30pm - Cheerleaders in the Main Ring

12:45pm - Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling registration begins at the C&W Ring

1:00pm - Penrith Town Band - Playing at intervals in the Music/Bar Area (Sponsor: Kendal Calling)

1:00pm - Broke FMX - Main Ring

1:15pm - Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling commences at the C&W Ring

1:30pm - Dog Show in the Main Ring - pre-register at Vets 4 Pets (Dog Show sponsors) - regsiter at the secretary's tent

2:30pm - Supreme Horse Championship

2:45pm - Judging of Champion of Champions - Main Ring

3.00pm - Grand Parade followed by presentation of trophies & the Blamire Medal

3:00pm - Penrith Town Band, followed by singer Katie Jane - playing at intervals in the Music/Bar Area

4.45pm - Terrier Racing - enter at the Secretary's tent

5:00pm - Songs from the Musicals – Music/Bar Area
