Cumbria Local Government Pension Fund colleagues joined charity cyclist Ewan McCulloch at Carlisle Castle this week as he set off on a 1,300km journey across England to raise money for charities and community projects.
Ewan, Chief Stakeholder Officer at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership, is cycling from Carlisle to the south coast over ten days, visiting each of the 18 partner local government pension fund areas whose investments are managed by Border to Coast.
As part of the challenge, Cumbria Pension Fund is raising money for Watchtree Nature Reserve's Watchtower Project, supporting the charity's plans for the future of the historic Watchtower site and surrounding land.

The Cumbria Pension Fund manages the Local Government Pension Scheme in Cumbria and is run by Westmorland and Furness Council on behalf of over 120 other local government employers within Cumbria.
