The popular Channel Four show that goes under the covers to look at the houses, habits and tastes of the people whose home is their business Four in a Bed is heading to Penrith next month.
The fly on the wall competition series sees four sets of B&B owners take it in turns to host each other at their establishments, judging the hospitality and venue by choosing how much above or below the going room charge rate they choose to pay.
At the end of each visit the guests fill in an anonymous feedback form; the hosts don’t know who’s said what or how much they’ve been paid, but they do find out what their guests thought of them the good and the bad.
It’s not the first appearance for Penrith in the show with Abbey House in Penrith, having featured in Four in a Bed in 2014. With the previous owners Ian and Sam Sugden hosting the other couples, That episode is part of Series 6, Episode 26
Studio Lambert the production company that creates the show is heading to Penrith to turn the spotlight on a B&B on Portland Place with the film crew set to be out and about around Penrith filming on the 12th and 13th May for the show that will air later this year on Channel 4.
