Another Wide Load Heading North on Sunday on M6

Another wide load operation carrying equipment for National Grid infrastructure work is heading northbound on the M6 on Sunday (20th October) travelling northbound between 9am and 9pm

Departing Heysham at 9am heading North to Harker, Carlisle

The wide slow moving load will travel north in lanes one and two through the course of the 12 hour journey.

National highways are warning drivers to expect delays and slow moving vehicles and to take care when overtaking in lane three.

With Storm Ashley forecast to bring strong winds and rain on Sunday making for dangerous driving conditions the planned movement of the slow moving wide load could be subject to change or cancellation.
