Amazing Community Participation with 3673 Votes Cast in the 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Festival

The votes have been counted in the 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Festival with 3673 votes cast over the last few weeks for the amazing scarecrows that have been created and on display across Penrith.

Alongside the votes we have received messages from people enjoying the 1980’s themed scarecrow trail around Penrith.

Before we reveal the winners of the 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Festival the Penrith.Town team would like to thank everyone that has taken part in the festival and those who have followed the trail around Penrith and all who have voted for their favourite scarecrow.

The response has again been truly amazing and inspirational with the community coming together to create a fun creative event that has been enjoyed by the local community and has attracted visitors to explore the Penrith Scarecrow trail as well.

The team are already planning for the 2026 Penrith Scarecrow Festival but have taken onboard comments around dates for holidays and schools to take art next year.

Due to the volume of votes received the team have been busy counting them all and double and triple checking before we could announce the winners of the 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Festival.

As a result of more votes cast for the Penrith scarecrows than in the local council elections counting is taken a bit longer than planned to count them all.

But we will reveal the winners at 8pm this evening (Sunday 31st August) when we will find who has taken First, Second and Third in the 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Festival as voted for by 3673 of you over the last few weeks.
