This years Skelton show the 129th delivered a packed day with something for everyone today (Saturday 5th June) at Hutton in the Forest, a bit of rain forecast and mud did not stop the crowds descended on the 2025 Skelton Show.
The show offered another Skelton Show day packed with Entertainment, Food, Ice cream, Farm equipment, Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Crafts, Prize winning veg and much more all accompanied by Penrith Town Band.
The industrial marquee had its annual varied collection of creative and craft skills on display entered by people from across the local area including cakes, flowers needle craft, jams through to children’s crafts and paintings on display having been judged and some awarded the prized first, second, third and fourth awards for each category.
A parade of vintage vehicles and tractors around the main arena showed of a wide range of vehicles spanning the decades to the crowd of spectators along with the displays of cattle, Horses, Sheep and Dogs.
The volunteers who have work hard throughout the year to put on Skelton Show, will take a well-earned rest for a few hours before they start the hard work of planning and organising Skelton Show 2026 that will be the 130th Skelton Show.
