Police and Fire Services Team up to Tackle Anti Social behaviour in Penrith

Members of the Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service teamed up on Friday evening to deliver an anti-social behaviour operation through educational presentation delivered to young people in the area.


A cumbria Fire and Rescue mobile command vehicle was parked up at the entrance to Castle park to deliver presentations to young people about the effects of anti social behaviour and what happens to those involve.


The operation is part of ongoing work to tackle a growing rise in antisocial behaviour in the town.


The young attendees were treated to a McDonalds provided by the management of the Penrith fast food restaurant.


A spokesperson for Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Thank you to McDonald's Penrith management for providing food to the young people who attended the presentation."
