Bank holiday traffic is leading to long delays and queuing traffic on the M6 and A66 around Penrith

Vehicles heading south on the M6 are queuing back from J40 to J41 with delays of 20 minutes to exit on the A66 at J40.

Traffic is also queuing on the A66 with delays of 15 minutes to travel between J40 and Kemplay Roundabout.
